I even think 9/11 was a bit too convenient also.. The Neocons and Cheney and Bush ALL wanted to attack the hell out of Iraq.. and anyone else that could get the Military Industrial Complex rolling and sucking money out of your pockets.. then along came 9/11

This show is just too scary for me ...

one too many magic mushrooms me thinks

Maybe...but if I had to pick between guys who were too suspicious and guys who trusted everything the government did, I'd pick the former.

I trust them more then I trust the enemy. If I can't then we might as well all kiss life as we know it goodbye.

You have never been tricked in your whole life? ever once? How do you definitively know who the enemy really is? Honestly.. through all the BS that the media plays..

Jesus was someones enemy and was murdered.. Jewish people threw him to the lions and they are the supposed chosen ones of God 😕

It seems some minds are almost incapable of discerning grey area and dealing with ambiguity. These are the minds who are most stimulated by simplistic, dogmatic, emotionally driven rhetoric like "You're either with us, or against us".

Life is no cheap western... some of the guys wearing white hats don't have our best interests at heart and some of the guys wearing black hats don't want us dead but just want to be left alone.

One of these days I'm going to have to sit down and have a long talk with that boy.
Jed Clampett

Chertoff just won't let any terrorist organization compete with the devastation that his FEMA group
can inflict within the country, why outsource terrorism, when we can do it better ourselves.

These so-called "terrorists" just aren't living up to their reputation. What with their ridiculous attack plans (Flood NY? Pfffft), lack of initiative and plain old stupidity. We've seen the enemy and he's a few sandwiches short of a picnic.

I didn't say we shouldn't trust them more than the terrorists. You guys have to get out of this mindset where there are only two groups, the "bad guys" and the "good guys", and anybody in the former group is subhuman scum that we should do anything to eliminate, and everyone in the latter group is a living man-god who's word we can trust with no reservations. The world isn't all black and white, just because I trust the government more than the terrorists doesn't mean I don't think we need to keep an eye on them too.

Half the time you talk like you do.
I could just see you on my football team.Seahawks against the panthers. It
is 3rd and five.
your the right tackle.
Now deep down you know you probably ought to be focused on that linebacker that looks like he is about ready to blitz.
But no, thank God you realize to keep your eye on your Quarterback. Cuz you know that doggone Hasselback is probably a crook.

I trust the Govt. implicity more then I trust terrorists that want to destroy us.
But do I look at my refund check to see if my Income tax refund is the right amount..yes of course.
Do I watch politicians to see if they keep thier campaign promises?.. Of course I do.
Do I trust them blindly. Of course not that would be assinine.
Other then some close family members, I trust no one blindly.

Who said terrorists are the geniuses many would like to make them out to be?

1993 wtc attack
The 1993 World Trade Center Bombing
The World Trade Center became established as a prime target for terrorist attacks by the 1993 garage bombing, which a 1500-pound urea-nitrate bomb, packed in a van carved out a multi-story crater in the grarage, and killed six people while injuring over one thousand subjected to toxic smoke.

As in the 9/11/01 attack, the FBI was extremely prompt in identifying the suspect. They arrested Mohammed A. Salameh and his friend Nidal Ayyad days after the attack, based on a fragment of metal at the scene traced back to a Ford Econoline rental van.

The behavior of the FBI's prime suspect Salameh was not that of the typical bomber. He reported the van stolen the day before the bombing to both the police and the rental agency, and went to the rental agency the day of the attack to attempt to retrieve his $400 deposit.

Oklahoma City Bombing
McVeigh was arrested for driving without a license plate and carrying and transporting a loaded firearm.

Too many people have this Hollywood movie image of terrorists as part of a sophisticated network always one step ahead of the law like in the following movies Invasion USA,::True Lies,::Under Siege and some hero like Chuck Norris, Steven Segal, Arnold Schwartzeneggar, etc are working behind the scenes to save the day.

But when they do succeed by exploiting obvious security flaws such as, our lackadaisical attitude towards security, inept government administrators like we witnessed during hurricane Katrina, our ignorance of people who do not think like we do, etc., and our hero doesn't show up to save the day we cry conspiracy, conspiracy since obviously no one that stupid can get the best of us.😉

By now you KNOW they twisted the facts on Iraq to meet their goal and would not dare listen to anyone who said they should not attack them and all the BS they told us was exactly that.. BS

How do you feel knowing they twisted those facts and there are now

AT LEAST 50,000 DEAD Iraqi citizens

2500+ dead American Soldiers http://www.cnn.com/SPECIALS/2003/iraq/forces/casualties/

at least 20,000 seriously wounded American soldiers

http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/ops/iraq_casualties.htm

$400,000,000,000 - FOUR HUNDRED BILLION STOLEN MONEY FROM FUTURE GENERATIONS

and YOU still trust these bastards - you should pray for your soul for supporting people like this

I know that they looked at the itelligence they had. At the Intelligence that our allies had.
That congress was shown the same intelligence and agreed that it was a threat.
Heck, Saddam lied to his own generals about what he had.

Anything more then that , that I have seen is conjecture, theory from people who hate bush, and mud slinging from antiwar groups.

I love the part how Democrats looked at the exact same evidence Bush had and agreed. But now try to backtrack and say he decieved us.
Saddam was given countless chances to come clean and was in direct defiance of UN restrictions for a long time.

If anything the intelligence decieved democrats the same way it decieved the administration but that doesn't sound so good in an election does it?

50,000 Iraqi's dead yet they still vote, they still join the army, they still hope that for the first time they can experience freedom in thier country. ( the interview with the female Iraqi soldier I posted in this forum would be good for you to read)

2500 US soldiers: any other war that would be the loss of a battle or two...they believe in what they are fighting for..google up some military blogs of soldiers stationed there and educate yourself.

Do I think you will accept any of this or change your views?
No, you will continue to spout "Bush lied thousands died " because thats really what this is about , for many but not all democratic politicians, is to reclaim the whitehouse and congress at any price. And you can't see that.

But all this is old news and old debate....moving on.

For me.. this has not nearly as much to do with Bush as it does -- with Murder and Death and Corruption and PROFITS

You will label it as though they tried their very best not to go to war and that when they looked at the intelligence data .. that they just had no other choice.. Is that what Jesus and God would say.. "You must kill people"

I hate Democrats ..

I hate Republicans

I hate dumb assholes like Nader.. who know they only get into elections to stroke their ego..

All politicians beyond high school civics lose their souls and become liars who will steal your money and your trust

do you know the population total of Iraq.. yes.. there will be those who choose to help their homeland regain normalcy.. BUT they wish we would get the F out of their country.. and quit raiding their cities and restore their museums that we let get plundered and rebuild what we bombed and destroyed ..

I am sure it would be nice to have some of their brothers and sisters back..

Hey, Whoa!

Stop RIGHT there!

Congress was NOT, I repeat NOT, shown the same intelligence. That's been proven over and over again so stop spewing that tired piece of crap talking point.

Good luck with that. At this point, I think everyone who is capable of accepting the reality of the Bush administration has done so. We are left with Bush diehards, a few deluded sheep who are intellectually incapable of anything except blindly bleating BushCo propaganda. It doesn't matter how many times and how many ways one exposes their ignorance. They cower safely cocooned in a black and white BushCo bubble world built from partisan hatred and simple-minded, truthy sound bites. Their crusade is righteous; their faith in Lord Bush absolute. Facts and truth are irrelevant.
