I think its a scam. Most people here do too. I need some links to proof that shows its a scam so I can convince my friends to STOP posting that crap and telling everyone to sign up.

Where is the evidence? Help me stop the madness!

What iPod scam are you referring to? The one that gives you a free iPod?

I've seen a few different ones out there but I just wanted to know what one you're talking about.

Go read up on Multi-Level Marketing, as well as a little on Pyramid Schemes. That is the "business model" the site in question is using. Multi-Level Marketing by nature screws someone on the bottom of the pyramid, as it were.

You should note that if you complete the offers as they describe chances are you'll get your damn iPod. This is why the same company can run freevideogames.com/etc. and get away with it: they actually follow through. The difference here is that you have to screw over friends and family to get the goods. It's about two steps away from selling your soul for an iPod.

What they do is have you sign up for services like AOL and similar things. When you sign up they get like $25 for referring you, and give you $10-$15 back.

Here's a good thread on FW about it http://www.fatwallet.com/forums/messageview.cfm?catid=24&threadid=248851&highlight_key=y&keyword1=free
I did something similar and got my XBox. In the end I spent about $35.

They're tightening up though. It will take probably 6~7 months of patience and obsessive bookeeping to get stuff from them now without getting hosed.

HERE IS PROOF

Many people on this flyertalk thread have reported getting theirs. Just dont pick the iPod mini as it is heavily backordered. Just be sure to do it legit, they do IP tracking to make sure that you dont sign yourself up instead of friends. They do anything they can NOT to give you a $250 ipod.

P.S. Here is my shameless plug if anyone needs to be referred PM me.
