I wasn't too thrilled when my 14 year old daughter got felt up on her way to visit her grandparents. Goober security guards getting their jollies... NOT COOL.
I think the female guard for female passenger is more appropriate in any case.

These were male security personnel???
I want to hear anyone try to defend these paedophile creeps with this "PC" garbage. Can you imagine putting that kind of power in the hands of these perverts? Can you imagine your daughter travelling alone, powerless, forced to suffer such embarassment at the hands of these perverts?
Disgusting. Only another paedophile would defend such depravity.

What if the guard is a lesbian and is getting her jollies?

Yes, they were male, and it was December right after 9-11. There was nothing I could do about it because we were separated at a point before the terminal. So she was travelling alone at that point. She told me about it later when she came home.
She started developing a weight problem after that. Kind of like a way to protect herself, really--- from unwanted sexual attention. Her weight is back under control now, but she realized pretty quickly that as a female, she's vulnerable.

Well, what if?
My daughter still flies by herself because she wants to (she's 17 now) and she's toughened up a bit. No way in hell I'll ever let my other 2 go it alone, no matter how much they beg me. Too many opportunists out there and I'm not into providing opportunities.
