Type of RAM/Size

I found this in my spare parts drawer. Sadly I have no idea what the speed of the RAM is nor do I know how big...(It seems to be SDRAM)

Can anyone tell me the speed by looking at it or what?

EDIT: Ooops: looks ilke it's pc188-222-620 and may be a 512MB (8*64?)

Confirm?

I'm not a big ram guy, but it seems like pc133 or pc100 would make more sense for the first part.

Maybe 222 is the timing?

AFAIK, there's no way to tell what speed it runs at until you pop it in a motherboard and find out.
Also, it's not a 512 stick. I used to know what 8Mx64 meant but I forgot how to tell. I know you definitely don't multiply the numbers though. Since it's single sided, I'd guess either 64 or 128.

Great. Thanks a lot.

researching, i could be wrong

it looks like a 64MB stick of pc100 from what i can see. definately would like other opinions

I'm virtually positive it's 64MB--the 8Mx64 is 8 Megabits * 64. Yeah, looks like 168-pin single-sided SDRAM. It's non-ECC since there 8 chips, not 9. No idea about PC100 vs. PC133. I, too, would be interested if anyone could completely verify or add anything.
