So I was requested to take a look at a mac for one of our staff as a favor. I was told they somehow got a virus installed on their system and now has a keylogger loaded. Now, I'm a little skeptical, not because I believe macs have no viruses, but well, it's pretty damn rare if anything.
I feel that I follow enough apple news to know if something recent had finally become widespread, but thought I should ask here anyway. I would gather the likelihood of this piece of software being installed on it's own by some rouge Mac virus be somewhere near 1%.
And on a side note, does anyone know if there's an *uninstall* log somewhere in OS X?
