being a fraternity man myself, wtf was the fraternity thinking? Pools + drinking are a bad enough start as it is.

IIRC, he pulled out of this year's draft so obviously the money's not a huge driving factor for him (he's not going to improve his draft stock much in the next year). I never knew much about him, but now I kinda like him. He's enjoying college.

Billy Packer was at the party. He said

"Tyler Hansbrough may not be the most talented jumper in the fraternity, but he will out work and out hustle every jumper on the balcony."

Retarded, simply based on the fact that his physical well being is his mealticket to bigger and better things so to jump off a balcony is just dumb. He can drink and party all he wants as long as he's in shape by the start of the season.

i have no idea who this kid is but jumping of a balcony into a pool at a frat house does not strike me as odd

he should have went into the draft asap. He's going to be a shit NBA player, but he could have at least made a couple million before retiring to use his kinesiology degree.

personally I think its stupid.
The kid has a guaranteed FORTUNE waiting for him in the NBA. IF I were him, if I wasn't on the basketball court, I'd be wrapping my self witha matress and bungie cord as to not get hurt in some stupid-ass way before I cashed my first NBA pay-check.

Any other dumb college fraternity kid? Whatever.

He then proceeded to bang 6 sorority chics at the same time while Jay Bilas watched and complemented his work ethic.

Jumping off a balcony is pretty dumb. But it doesn't even look very high, probably not all THAT risky. Whatever. He's in college, let him have his fun.

(I still maintain that Matt Leinart's decision to stay another year at USC was the greatest decision anyone has ever made in the history of mankind, even if it cost him 9 picks in the draft and a few million dollars. That was most likely the best year any person has ever had).

Why not have fun, he's going to be one of the worst former college player of the year players in the Nba. He didn't have much of a choice than to stay in school and try and improve his draft stock. The Nba isn't exactly clamoring for power forwards that can't move laterally, can't jump from a stationary position, and generally play below the rim.

It doesn't matter. He WILL get drafted and WILL get millions of dollars. That is unless, he injures himself doing something stupid off the basketball court... you know like jumping off a balcony into a pool.
