Tylenol and drinking

I head a headache so I reached for the tylenol and took two, then right after forgot I am going drinking tonight with a friend!

AHhhh..
I am wondering if there is a "safe time" I can start drinking at or can I not drink at all tonight?

Any help welcomed! Thanks!

I don't think it'll be THAT bad unless you plan to drink a LOT. You might find you'll get buzzed quicker though. IN any case... I wouldn't drink too much until at LEAST several hours... like 6-8... have passed. Just my .02.

Apap is big load on your liver and combining it with alcohol is not great for you.

It depends on how much each pill was and what your body size is and how much we're talking about drinking.

Personally I would still drink, but that's me. Just don't go crazy and don't make a habit out of this.

Afraid of liver failure? I think you're safe to go drinking. I would eat something before you go drinking. Just don't take anymore tylenol.

no big deal....I do the opposite though...drink then take 2 tylenols before bed...Im talking like 10 years+....checked my liver recently and all is good.....

 Sure, whatever.

NEVER take Tylenol after a night of drinking.

I know people who do...not that hard to believe

I understand that the danger is bad for habitual use, but is there even a danger for a person who does this once or twice every like, 3 years? (take tylenol and drink)

you know you're gonna drink tonight anyway no matter how many people say it's going to be bad.

It's not that it's hard to believe, it's just that it's monumentally stupid and..dumb.

want my doctors #?

And never take tylenol regularily on empty stomach.

Occassional concurrent administration of APAP(acetaminophen) with ETOH(alcohol) is not deleterious to liver. Regular concomittant use is, as is on an empty stomach. BTW the effect is nearly double for the fairer gender due to hepatic metabolism differences and how the body handles alcohol.

Advil can also be bad w alcohol, ASA(aspirin) may be safer to liver, but harder on gastrum.
