Who's comparing President Bush to the Nazis? I never said it was Kerry now did I? How about I connect the dots for you DV, evidently you need the guidance.

The Germans used such methods to good effect in the runup to the second World war.

The above commentary was rendered in the first post of this topic. My initial reply was directed toward that individual specifically regarding that comment.

Oh, and I particularly enjoyed that (clearly off the mark) whine about my supposed trolling.......it suits you.

Were the comments about the Germans made by either the number one or number two most powerful person in America? If not then where on the scale would Nancy Pelosi rank?

Why do people here continually have to display their ignorance for all to see?

Item #1: I most certainly did not grant any approval to the Bush campaign's tactics. However, their tatics "tie" Kerry to terrorism using the thinnest of strings, if it all. This is merely the OP's own conclusion and not one I would characterize as "tying Kerry to terror".

Item B (just seeing if you're paying attention): The point of my original post was *drum roll*.........the ridiculously ironic hypocrisy of the first post in this thread.

Run along now and leave the grown up discussion to the adults........

They claim he doesn't support the troops and voted aginst giving Bush money for the troops.. (he voted for $60,000,000,000 instead of $70,000,000,000)

They claim if people vote for the Democrat then America will be struck by Terrorists
"...because if we make the wrong choice then the danger is that we'll get hit again and we'll be hit in a way that will be devastating from the standpoint of the United States," VP Dick Cheney

^^^ that is not the thinnest of strings little man.

Those do not "tie" Kerry to terrorism (ie, the implication of a relationship), and instead merely point to Kerry's supposed weakness in responding to terrorism and/or fully funding our military objectives to (again, supposedly) ensure success.

As I said earlier, I have given no sign of approval to Cheney's rhetoric. Bearing that in mind, it is merely rhetoric--something that the Kerry campaign also continually engages in. It's something I roll my eyes over......just like when I read most of what you have to say. Sorry if I'm not all worked up into a frenzy, but then again, I'm also not a fanatical Bush hater either............yawn.

That report is BS, Cheney never said we would be attacked under kerrys watch, He simply said that kerry would not do anything to stop terrorists. And given his current standpoint (though it may change tommarow) I would have to agree. (sorry mods but this part belongs a little in the rathergate thread) You call Bushs Methods Unamerican for their administration to say that kerry would suck at defending the nation? Well what about some dems creating FORGED documents to try and discredit the president, Ahh thats not unamerican because it attacks someone you dont like, Correct?

I really dont understand what is like-able about Bush. I cant, especially, believe there are people here defending him. After all,l he did cut a big budget for R&D in technology; probably resulting in the burst of the bubble. I mean for crying out loud, the man's IQ is below 90, closing in on retardation. Yet there are still people that idolizes him. GREAT!!! I think you should know more about your battles, before fighting for it.

All I'm saying is another 4 years of Bush in office and dont count on our economy getting much better. Our deficit is up our butts, and he wants to make the taxcuts PERMANENT. Does any of you even have any idea what the outcome of it is with our economy already the way it is?

I cant blame America for him cheating into office the first term, but if a retarded president gets re-eleceted, I think I'd be ashamed to call myself an American.

Please remember also, we are not the only country in the WORLD. The only country that is currently supporting us with the war on Iraq is Britain. They are now torn 50/50 in this issue. So would you say that our decision to attack Iraq is the right one, and every other countries in the world are wrong? Or perhaps, there is a bigger picture that most of us are just not seeing?

BTW the president promised better economy, better price on oil with this war. Do we have it? If you believe that he will make everything better with another 4 years, then I say you are as dumb as the president.

HS, if you disagree with another surgeon's plan for an operation, do you pray that the surgery will go badly?
Bad analogy...Kerry is a lawyer, a liberal and a Democrat. Nuff said.

So you are saying that you honestly believe that Kerry is praying for people to die? In particular because he is a lawyer, liberal and Democrat?

Hardly nuff said! It's this sort of disrespect that is a major problem with politics today!
