Tyan S1857 ?

Anyone ever had any experience with this motherboard? It's sort of a strange looking beast in that it has both a socket 370 and Slot 1 onboard. The reason I'm asking is that my girlfriend needs a PC and a guy she works with has the board and is willing to sell it for $25 since he hasn't had it in a system in over a year(according to him) so I was thinking about getting it and building her a cheap system around it. I've looked for reviews on the web and thus far haven't found any. It is an Intel 810 based board and so far I've read nothing but good reviews about the chipset. She wont be doing anything other than email and office apps so the onboard video and audio will be good enough for what she needs. I guess all I need to know is if anyone has ever used this board and what they thought of it. I haven't had a Tyan board since WAY back when the P166 was the hottest thing around. I know back then they made quality boards and was just wondering if that is still true.

Thanks...

I had one. It's a via cs, like you said. They're still known for stability & quality. Micron uses them & a couple computer shops near me use only them. Not too tweakable but it was very stable. Go to www.reviewfinder.com & I'm sure you'll find a review.
