Got my board last week, and assembled with a single 248 procoessor for now. Probably will stay single, but dual-core eventually.
2GB Corsair, ATI XL800 dual-head for now, 2x73G sata 10k drives. Enermax 600W EPS supply w/dual rails for PCI-E.

I can go to S1 no problem, and return.
When I go to S3/suspend-to-ram, the machine starts back up, I can hear some things spinning up, but no video and the HD doesn't seem to do much (activity light). I have to turn the power supply off to recover from this state, the power-button doesn't cut it.

Anyone else sucessful going to S3?
If so, can you post your config, including your BIOS? Hints or tips would be greatly apprecaited!

Thanks,

This won't be any help, but I have the exact same problem sometimes (not all the time) with my A8N-SLI Deluxe. I am overclocking it pretty hard, though, so I always attributed this problem to that. Would love to hear about some solution or know for sure that it's due to overclocking...

Quick update.
Tyan sent me the latest BIOS version, and now I can at least reset via the MB connection. Before I had to use the PS switch when I went to S3.
Still no luck on resume thou'. Hoping someone else out there has this board and is testing things?

Its a shame that a board as pricey and hardcore as the Thunder K8WE has problems with S3 sleep...

I can do it on my A8N SLI Deluxe fine, but I have a RAID 1 mirror on the Slicon Image controller and if I S3 sleep, the RAID 1 array has to resync itself for some reason upon waking the machine up.

DOH!

Now I'm on the "Q" rev of the BIOS, same problem. Anyone else having better luck, or problems?

The FreeBSD folks blame the ACPI implementation for the NVidia chipsets for this. Can't judge whether that is accurate.
