trying to install a raid driver to install win xp, but i keep getting the above said message.

is my driver bad??
the instructions in the asus manual said to just copy the makedisk.exe onto a floppy and put that in, but it wont work.

any ideas??

I'm assuming that you have to run makedisk.exe inside of windows, and it will expand and create a floppy with the drivers.

In other words, don't just copy makedisk.exe to a floppy. Use a windows pc (like you posted here with) and have a floppy ready. Then, doubleclick on makedisk.exe, and it should write files to the floppy for you.
