TXP4....P233 problem.

Well, I'm trying to upgrade this Asus TXP4 for this guy I know. He had a Cyrix 686 PR-200+ and I'm upgrading to an Intel Pentium 233mx.

Here's the problem: Cyrix works fine, but after properly setting up for the Pentium(3.5 multi, 66mhz fsb, 2.8v, split rail voltage)I get no video. Tried different PCI vidcards and even an ISA vidcard, result is the same. Pop the Cyrix back in and set it up and it works fine.

I know his thing is old, but if anyone has experience with it or any ideas on what to do/check, I'll appreciate it.

I know, those older boards are junper-city. Just a real long shot, and I don't have the TXP4 manual but, the PCI Clock jumpers need to be changed from the Cyrix's 33Mhz clock to Intel's PCI 33 Mhz Clock. They are not the same settings. Just play around with the PCI Clock, I think you'll find the answer.

I've got the same problem with this card
asus txp4 rev 1.02

no video !!!!

i'm try with 2 different pci cards but ..... no video
the motherboard is ok because the green led keyboard is ok too

what can we do please ?
