IIRC - he recently had to switch jobs, and his new position had to do with going out to sites for long periods of time... think going out to an oil-well in the ocean or something. I can't recall exactly what.

Well not necessarily you but many here were pretty harsh on the guy but yes he seems good natured, I would have a beer with him, if he was buying.

Generally in life I have found the conservatives (including christian nut-job types) to be the most accepting of anyone a lot of times.

Whereas butt-hurt liberals will get so passionate at a simple bar debate that they ABSOLUTELY MUST convert you to be a gay-loving, gun hating, kale munching hippie right then and there - even if it means yelling to the point of spitting.

God forbid some people have a discussion that turns into a debate, and then both sides agree to disagree and you go on your merry way. Is that really such a hard concept now? I don't give a shit if you're the most liberal person on P&N, I'll still sit down and have a beer with ya.
