"Well, I made a two fatal mistakes which lead to my termination. Well, one actually, but it lead to the discovery of my other mistake."

I would say your only mistake was releasing this information.

didnt someone got fired from home depot for posting clearance prices from here too?
Yeah...can't remember who that was, though.
Evadman?

At least someone remembers :). But mine was not sensitive information such as coupon codes (which HD didn't have anyway).

It sucks Red. It sucked for me for a while, but I ended up much better off.

sheesh....posting info from work? Um...wait a second...that happened to me! Mr.Bond has the story pretty much right - though it was right before my son was born

led to a tough 8-10 months, but ended up better off for it!

Next time use a terminal service to another computer and post and browse those sites through the terminal service =p No URL logs then!

That was pretty bad of you dude. But at least you admit to it and don't make excuses.

I think both you and Evadman could have been treated less harshly, but then again I don't own my own business.

Ever since I've been paranoid about talking too much about my work. All it could take is for me to post some info I got through the rumor mill and have the stock go down .01% and have that info get back to someone.

Wow... so now they know who you are again. Great job in your quest for anonymity against Staples! Why make a new screen name, then purposely and publicly link it to your old screen name?
