Two wireless mice in the same room?

I am building a new desktop pc for my fiance which will be at a desk right next to mine. I'd like to use a wireless mouse the same as mine. I'm thinking disaster as they both will be 'talking' to both pc's. Is this doable? What about different brands, will that work?

I don't think you have anything to worry about, the mice are specific to the receiver. At work we regularly have lots of people with identical wireless mice connected to their laptops in conference rooms and I have never seen a problem.

Not a problem, have had my desktop and laptop both with identical Logitech wireless trackballs sitting within a couple feet of each other, and neither interfered with the other.

Not a problem. I have three computers, all with wireless mice in the same room. Each mouse communicates only with its own receiver module - they are not interchangeable. Bo interference at all.
