well, you tried the new stick by itself, right? and if I remeber you said it performed just s you stated in your OP.

Yeah, you're right. When I initially added the new stick, that's when all the problems started. I'll post up the markings on both sticks tonight - if you can let me know if they are incompatible with each other I would appreciate it. I'm hoping this particular stick was just bad and I can get a replacement. I would like to add more memory - 512mb doesn't always cut it anymore. Here is a link to the board I have:

Apparently, my rig doesn't like to run at night anymore. Tried getting on last night, and it restarted on me numerous times. Couldn't stay more than 2 minutes, literally. This morning it ran fine for about 15-20 minutes before I left for work. I'm about at my wit's end with this thing - I may have to bite the bullet and buy a new mobo, even though I don't want to since I haven't pinpointed that as the problem.
