Looks like both rebates are good on purchase thru 9/28/06

Free shipping on a sale box is something you don't find every day.

Probably online only.

Catalog#: 55004732.........$10 AR

Catalog#: 55006208.........$30 AR (alumuinum)

Just bought this case last night at Fry's for $120 - $50 rebate. Came with an Ultra V-Series 500 watt PS. Great case, but very big. Very much like a server case, hard drives mount sideways and you can hide the cables if you want. Drives sit on rubber mounts. Very user freindly, but the front door seems cheap. Looks awesome from the side view.

Also I have bought several items from Radio Shack on line with rebates, got them all in a reasonable time.

If you want a large case this one is great!

Chieftec, Chenming, Antec, Ultra, they've all got a replica of this case in some shape or fashion. I've got one of the Chenming versions. Very sturdy, same issue with the front door, but I just took it off.

With the front door on, my fan controller is in the way and the door can't be closed. I had to either move the controller back which leaves a gap or take the door off.

I bought one of these last time RS had them for $10. For an average Joe application, I would rate it a 7 or 8. No issues with it really, plenty of room, lots of bays. I like the EverCases I used to buy a lot better but for the price you can?t beat this deal. Free shipping is great.

More of an issue is OnRebate. Last time I received no confirmation and had to call, but they sent the numbers right out to me.

Sent the rebate for the last case in on 07/20 it took them a month to acknowledge they had received it. Been over 2 months now and still waiting for it to change to Payment Pending status. I also just sent a rebate for a 400W PS from Outpost to OnRebate and this time forked over the $2.50 expedite fee. The acknowledged receipt in a week.

One other thing, I know you fellas most likely already do this but it is imperative to save copies of everything from the order process throughout the rebate process. Last time RS pulled the rebate forms very quickly, luckily I had them saved as .PDF?s and they never sent me an E-mail receipt and all that came with the items was a packing slip, not acceptable on many rebate, so the PDF of the final order screen comes in handy.

I was just wondering how this works if you want both cases. I see it says one rebate per household but I don't know if that's per case or Ultra rebates?

I have participated in hundreds of rebates, of those none have ever bled over models. I would say you are good to go on both, but I'd call RS and/or OR to be sure.

I want both. But...I don't *need* both.......heck, I don't need either....

*sigh* how to justify to my empty pockets..........🙂

Damn, why you guys have to tempt me like this? Already have probably $7k in CC bills covering two months, and now more hot deals? 😱

Gonna think about it though. 😀
