I've never figured out why people jam on their brakes when they see police cars. The worst place though that I've seen is on the PA turnpike on the branch toward NJ. Traffic will be flowing at 70-75mph in a 65mph zone, there'll be speed trap, and the idiots slam on their brakes and slow to about 40 mph.

OMG YES! I could care less about the security guard cars. . .but this one really irks me. I thought I was the only one. The FCC should ban the playing of sound clips containing things like horns, tires screeching, ambulance/police sirens, and car crashes especially during peak rush hour traffic times for the radio stations local broadcast area. This kind of thing has caused me to be startled or distracted numerous times during heavy fast moving traffic. It's quite maddening.

Not everybody chooses to listen to music during their daily commute. I like to listen to everything from News to Talk and including music.

I would like to add radio commercials with sirens in them.

And radio commercials with cellphones ringing in them.

Along with radio commercials that look like cop cars.

But what about cop cars with sirens that sound like ringing cell phones?
