My advice? Learn how to use the brake pedal, also learn how to read the little needle thing that points to the numbers.. Now, when the needle is pointing to a number higher than the sign that says "speed limit", , hit the brakes..........

Nothing annoys me worse than people doing 45-50 in a 35 and the like. And most of em usually get away with it.. I'm glad not everyone does..

Seriously, using that stray signal stuff you wont get anywhere with that in court. Im sure just about 85% of all the speeders sitting in court every day try that same exact thing.. Just pay the fines, and slow down.

As for the carpal, that sucks.. i wish you the best on that.

Its not about the money, but more about they fact that the one officer said he would not have pulled me over had it been during the day when the street is very busy. His excuse was that he can not do a u-turn in heavy traffic cause it will cause an accident and also that there are so many people that are going well over 50 mph in the area that it would be hard to pick one out.

He said that after I asked him if I would have gotten this ticket during the day, instead of late at night. After I talked to him for a while, mostly discussing my previous ticket in another city, he was kinda mentioning that I should plead not guilty and contest it. But he didn't come out and say that. I need help in deciding if this would be a wise move or not, as I have no idea what to expect if I do plead not guilty. Is it just the Judge, myself, and the Officer if he makes it, or is there an actual lawyer who comes in also? This would be taking place in Ohio.

I'm unhappy about the other ticket because I was going with the flow of traffic in my lane and a BIG van was passing me and several other cars in the other lane. The officer decided to pick me out for whatever reason, and also would not let me view his radar reading?

I have only had one other ticket and that was when I first received my license. I just had a really unlucky week among other things and am not happy about these outcomes. As for the people who are saying slow down and drive the speed limit, why don't you go and drive 25 mph in a stretch of 4 lane road where no one is going under 50 mph during the day. I was driving very reasonable for the conditions as the officer even mentioned my 44/25 with absolutely no cars on the raod is much safer than the 50+ mph people do during the day. I even thought that at the end of the conversion with the officer that he would rip up the ticket, but he didn't. By the way this officer was the nicest cop I have ever met, but he was doing his job. The other officer was a complete jerk and wouldn't even listen to my questions.

I just need to know the process after I plead not guilty.
