Two Specific Questions Re: Radeon 9700 Compatibility

Before I sink $$$ into an ATI Radeon 9700 I want to be sure it's compatible with:

1. My current MSI KT3 Ultra-ARU mobo

2. Mandrake 8.2 and/or 9.0

Does anyone know about either one?

The MB meets all of ATI specs ( 4x AGP, 128MB memory ), but ATI also recommends that you have at least a 300 watt power supply. I think the card uses about 60 watts of power, so you'll want a good PSU.

I don't know how well the 9700 works with Mandrake. Sorry. Hope this is helpful. Peace.
