Two Routers one IP same network ?

I have a office upstairs and I have a Desktop downstairs for my wife that I just picked up. Instead of buying a wireless card for the desktop , there is a phone jack right next to were the desktop is so I'm wondering if I could have two separate routers (Linksys FYI) upstairs downstairs on the same IP from the same provider.

FYI: I have ATAT DSL & one IP
 
oooohhhhhhh thanks. If I cant get this to work can anyone recommend a good networking card for a PC that Vista 64 actually supports .
 
Right now it is a big challenge to find one (forget about good).

As an example look at his page, while there are many 32bit releases, and some coming soon, all the 64bit are TBD.

Other Wireless provider do not have too much even in 32bit.

The way to go about it is backward.

Example: RealTek has Vista 64 OEM drivers for the RTL8185L chipset.

So search for a card that is based on the RTL8185L chipset.
