Two problems with Firefox

The first problem I am having with Firefox is that I cannot login and post messages with it. I am now using IE to post this message.

The second when I try clicking on: Bookmarks -> Firefox and Mozilla information -> Firefox Extentions

I get a pop-up dialog that wants me to log on using my 56k modem...I have cable modem and always connected.

I do not get any errors with the login. If I use the login screen to the left side of Anandtech forms it acts like it is reloading the screen, but the color of the forms stays light blue. In IE it changes to a tan color.

I try to create a new topic or reply to a message the pop-up window to login comes up but it will not accept the user name and password.
 
I am not blocking cookies. I have checked in the Windows XP internet options and the Firefox Options. In Firefox I am only accepting cookies from the orginial website.
 
I'm using Firefox right now. Try clearing your cache and set your cookies to "Allow sites to set cookies". Don't know if that will cure your problem, but give it a try.
