Two Operating Systems Clashing

Okay, so here's the scoop. My computer came installed with Widnows XP Home Edition, and my internet died so I reformatted it, by using Windows XP Pro, which has caused it to continually crash. Is there a possible way of getting rid of one of the operating systems without losing my hard drive? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If you reformatted your drive it will only have the XP Pro on it and not the XP Home.

The formatting part of it wipes the whole drive out, so you don't have 2 running.

If you installed over it without formatting, then you might have an issue.

Did you use theWIN XP Pro SP2 to install? A clean install is always the best way to go. If you formatted the HDD before installing, then you shouldn't have had any problems.

You might have to look into other areas to find out what could be causing the crashing.
