two network cards

Long story short...I'm trying to access two different lan's at the same time. One has internet access, the other doesn't, and I'm not interested in granting internet to the network that doesn't through my PC. I've read that i need to disable gateway settings on the non-internet connection...

any help would be great!

no, you just have to make sure you are not routing traffic (and you should know if you are). Disabling the gateway on the non Inet NIC would not prevent you from routing stuff for the boxes.
