I was wondering about how I could connect two computers with three network cards. My old computer has one (Windows 98SE), and my main computer has one (Windows XP). I was able to get another one though (not mine, but I can probably have it). I'm not sure what brand it is though, but hopefully it'll run okay. I wanted to install it on my main computer, so that my old one can have internet access. (I don't want to have to buy a hub, since it won't be used as much.) I use ADSL from Pacific Bell, that uses dynamic IP.
So, how would I go about doing this? My main one would be on most of the time. I guess I just need to know what settings to go with, on both the old Win98 computer and main WinXP Pro computer. One NIC would be connected to the DSL modem, and the other NIC to the old computer. Can anyone help me out? Thanks...I appreciate it. 🙂
