A Air Berlin Boeing 737 was flying yesterday from Belgrade to Berlin and it lost radio contact with the air control over the territory of Austria. The Austrian air control immediately alerted the airforce which responded by sending two Drakken figterplanes to escort the plane. The plane maintained the planned course and the radio contact was reestablished in a matter of minutes. The fighter jets escorted the Boeing to Czech border and then returned to the airbase.
