I acknowledge that you have access that I don't, but to me it makes absolutely NO sense to have a "stealth launch" (which Intel has never done before), and especially on a server product that will be obsolete in a year when Woodcrest is released...
Even though the chip will be a "drop-in" replacement according to the documentation, as the example with the Presler shows this can be problematical for the server environment. In my capacity as a consultant, I would never suggest it without some serious testing and validation first. It just doesn't make sense to me to have a stealth launch...
