Two different subnets communicating?

I have a LAN with a subnet 255.255.255.0 and DHCP as 192.168.1.x. I also have a Cisco RV220w router that I purchased because I wanted to set up VPN and connect to my network remotely. Now, my remote computer is on the same Workgroup (ACPHO) but when I connect via VPN, I do so successfully and I have an IP addy of 192.168.1.91 (my PPTP server is .90-.99) but the subnet mask is 255.255.255.255 and the default gateway is 0.0.0.0.

So even though I'm on the same Workgroup, ACPHO, I can't see any of the other computers. What haven't I done correctly?

This is my first foray into VPN so if I need to provide more information or I haven't asked the right question, please let me know!

Change the subnet mask to 255.255.255.0

You're actually on the same subnet, but as RDN mentioned, your mask is too narrow.

No, for a PPTP VPN, that's normal.

NETBIOS, however, is not going to traverse the VPN. Look for your other computers by IP or set up a real DNS server.
