I am about to start my two builds and I need a recommendation for a sealant for the barbs and the additives for the distilled water.

DangerDen 2U reservoirs
Swiftech MCP655-B pumps
D-TEK FuZion v2 cpu coolers
Enzotech SNBW-Rev.A NB and SB chipset coolers (I'm modifying the brackets to do this.)
Enzotech WMST-8INP mosfet coolers (also modded)
Swiftech MCR220 radiators
Black Ice 1 x 120 radiators
Antec TP3 650 psus
Antec Nine Hundred cases

What do you recommend?
 
No sealant on the barbs, I use pipe dope paste on the male threads of the fittings. I use a small screwdriver to put a bit on the threads and the O-ring, wiping most of it off with my finger.
PT nuke for the H2O.
 
Pipe dope and tread tape are used to lubricate threads in order that a tight fit can ba achieved. They are not necessary for plastic fittings or O-ringed fittings. They may be of minimal use with metal to metal fittings in Wc systems.

Distilled, not soft, not deionized, not etc., with some algecide.
