Two college students facing expulsion for defending themselves with a firearm

First, it's obvious he meant carrying a gun onto a plane, which you cannot do. Packed and stored firearms are clearly a different situation. And second, the first result when Googled if it's legal to own a live hand grenade says no. In fact most sources I've found say you can't. I've seen some that indicate it's legal with a special permit and a tax that costs about $200 per grenade.

Right here the liberal says you can't own a grenade, because, you know, google told him so.

His opinion is not to be trusted for the liberal is ignorant and knows not of what he speaks. You can summarily dismiss anything this liberal says because of the ignorance and lack of intelligence.

So how terrible does it feel that those stupid and ignorant liberals keep taking hundreds if not thousands of your dollars when you foolishly make bets about politics?

I mean if they're so dumb, what does it make you when you keep losing to them?

The money doesn't mean much to me, I've got plenty more.

Exposing the stupidity and sheer mental illness of the liberal is worth much, much more.

So far I count 4 stupid liberals completely owned by facts and logic. Let's make you number 5.

I love how you of all people tries to call others mentally ill. You genuinely need to talk to a mental health professional.

Regardless, you haven't addressed how it is that these 'stupid and crazy' people keep beating you over and over again. What does that say about your intelligence and mental stability if they keep outwitting you?

They are going to make a ton of money when they sue for violation of constitutional and civil rights. The university police cannot confiscate their weapons as they broke no law nor are they under arrest.

Funny a lot of gun shows don't allow open carry. You have to turn in your weapon before entering.

Shens on civil right violations

They are if they are renting rooms. Same principle as not serving blacks or gays - fine if you don't want to let them onto your private property, but not fine if you are a business. Even if your business is renting a room in your home.

The real lawsuit here is on behalf of the six-time felon. The university promised him a safe, gun-free workplace, then failed to deliver. Not only has he suffered extreme mental anguish, but due to that mental trauma he is now limited in his ability to perform his profession of home invasion.

You meant "selling a service," I thought you meant "Public Service." Yes, you are right that people who sell services can't discriminate based on race, gender, or other factors. But discrimination and gun policy shouldn't be so easily mixed.

I get your point though, good point to make.

Actually, read my posts again. I at no point take the position that one cannot own a grenade. I simply decided to beat you at your own game. TreVader made two statements, one right one wrong. He said you it's illegal to own a grenade. I simply provided a link that says he's correct. I also mentioned that I found other information indicating you can own a grenade and that there's a $200 tax. I never once indicate that I agree with the link I posted, I simply provided it as evidence as to why someone would believe you cannot own a grenade. I never even make the claim that the link proves you wrong, but instead that the link "says" you're wrong.

TreVader also said you cannot take an AK-47 onto a plane, which is correct. You then said You can totally take and AK-47 or AR15 on a plane. Nothing wrong or illegal about it.. It was obvious that TreVader meant for a person to carry a gun onto a plane, but you decided to play a semantic game because you can have one in checked baggage. However, you failed at your own semantic game because if it's in checked baggage then it would be a baggage handler that takes it onto the plane and not you.

You see, this entire series of posts have been me beating you at the semantics game YOU started. You had the perfect opportunity to join in the discussion with logical arguments, evidence, or proof. You chose to do none of that in favor of continually quoting Hitler. Instead I succeeded in doing exactly what I planned to do, bring your crazy out for the world to see.

Now if you want to talk about provably wrong statements said in this thread, you said the following.
They are going to make a ton of money when they sue for violation of constitutional and civil rights. The university police cannot confiscate their weapons as they broke no law nor are they under arrest.
Which is entirely incorrect because you DO NOT have the right to bring a firearm onto a privately owned property in which the property owner forbids firearms. (except apparently in Virginia, Minnesota, and California where it's illegal for a landlord to ban firearms)

It's been fun making you look foolish. Who am I kidding, I didn't make you look foolish, I just gave you an open invitation to do it to yourself like you always do.

But seriously, eskimospy is right, you really should talk to a mental health professional.

I have never heard any 2nd amendment supporters state they should be able to carry on any private property against the owners wishes.

What about this topic? Seems to be the exact issue. Unless we're all condemning these students for having the means to protect themselves from home invasion.

Far as I'm concerned they may have whatever they feel is necessary to protect themselves. Especially when it was a necessity in this specific case! They could be dead right now if they lacked a gun.

Ever.

Liberalism is a mental disease, a diseased and defective mind void of reality and logic.

Wouldn't that be trespassing at that point?

If the landlord found out.

Would you be ok with evicting someone who had an abortion?

Some religious universities would do just that.

This is not public property, but private. Too many people have no clue of how the constitution is applied.

The students knew the rules. Let's say their meth lab blew up and ended up killing a rapist / serial killer on the run for 30 years (no one else was harmed).

Would you really give them a free pass?

Sucks for them, but I'd rather be expelled than stabbed to death by some idiot breaking into my apartment. Similar result could probably have been obtained with a baseball bat, though, especially if one was custom made with nails put into the end of it, that's not a weapon you get hit with twice.

They're likely alive today based on their actions.

Hard to find fault with that.

I echo above above about not opening the door. If you open the door you should be armed.

It's basically impossible to argue with people who can't understand why they shouldn't be able to carry weapons in every public place on earth.

Do you people ever leave this country, or do you stay locked up in your compound deep in the Wasatch mountains? In any other country (at least any other country with a very high HDI) you would be viewed as patently insane. Nobody, and I mean nobody in the UK or France or Germany is suggesting that anyone should have guns for their protection. They want guns for hunting. In the UK you need a special permit to own a .22 Rifle. They would never ever let you own an M16.

I guess it's for the best that you stay in your holes, because that way if I want to stay away from crazy people, it's as easy as going anywhere but here.

I'm a gun nut and I have no problem with property owners not allowing firearms.

Would you take issue to the University not allowing a gay person or a fat person to live in their apartments?

The gay person--yes, absolutely.

Gun ownership and fatness are choices that you make in life. You are born with neither.

Also, no fatties!

Can you take firearms on a plane?

Yes, in checked luggage.

Can you own and manufacture destructive devices?

Yes.

This is where first hand knowledge trumps what you can google.

I lived in the dorms for years. I owned guns. I kept my guns off University property under fear of expulsion.

Like it or not, they have a right to run their own property just as I could legally deny someone access to my property for any reason, simply by calling them a trespasser.
