But which one is better if we forget the prices for a while? I noticed that the 9200 one is 64 bit, but no idea about the fx 5200. Any comments? Thanks.

The FX5200 you linked is also has a 64-bit memory bus. Unless you are going to use them for 2D mode only, both are going to suck in 3D games.

Yes, neither is going to be any good for 3D. However, as suggested above, they will be ok for 2D. Save the cash and get the Radeon if you want to deal with the rebate, or go with the 5200 if you don't want a lot of hassle. It's a flip-a-coin decision.

Also, just had to point this out... Marketing BS department working overtime.

Play your favorite PC games fast at resolutions up to 2048 x 1536

I know they want to sell their products, but blatant lies like this makes me sad.

But does he have a 9200SE? I don't think so. Both cards on a 64bit bus must be utterly horrible for playing 3d games. Maybe if all you played was Doom 1, you'd be ok :p

hehehe that is ultimate BS of the highest degree......6800ultra can play far cry at that res and its FPS is 20-30fps.......some how i think a 64bit 9200 would give up at 800x600 with far cry

I think that they are talking about Windows' Solitare - the most popular video-game of our time! (I mean, it must be popular, every single Windows user owns it... :p )
