Is the noose starting to tighten?

The two men, who helped Giuliani investigate former vice president Joe Biden, were charged with campaign finance violations, according to a person familiar with the charges. Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman have been under investigation by the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Manhattan. This is a developing story. It will be updated.

Fortunately Bill Barr is AG so I presume they'll be awarded the presidential medal of freedom and sent on their way.

Curious if that might add to Barr’s legal jeopardy though. He doesn’t seem to be the “take one for the team” type?

Related, as of a different story from this morning there was chatter about requesting them to appear before Congress. I assume it’s the same two guys.
Maybe Democrats have grown a set.

Edit:
Haha two wealthy dumb dumbs going to jail for stupid shit

Many people imagine they are more clever than they actually are or run into people in law enforcement who are even more so.

Looks like the indictment, at least in part, alleges improper donations to a congressperson who they were seeking support form to oust the US ambassador to Ukraine.

May have been DeSantis. Edit: looks like Pete Sessions instead.

It certainly seems they've gone to pretty serious extremes to get Yovanovitch out of the picture looking discreditable. One has to wonder what else she could possibly add to what is known already.

Jesus F’ing Christ—so Team Trump is STILL leveraging Manafort’s old pro-Russia lobbying bloc in Ukraine...and likely funneling their cash into illegal donations?

No wonder Trump keeps threatening Mitch to keep the GOP in line “or else”—how much money is being siphoned to GOP Congress critters via 1000s of unknown LLCs??

Maddow reported a couple of days ago that Giuliani was still in contact with Manafort via lawyers for advice/assistance with his Ukraine dealings.

"all of it."

Anyone still wondering why Lindsey has become such a dedicated lapdog to this "immoral man" that he once claimed "will be the end of the GOP?"

....seriously though, no one is still wondering, right?

OK, so....wonder about the timing of when Barr was informed of the warrants, and when these dudes were found at the airport.

Oh dear god, if we can just get a minimum of 6 obstruction charges against Barr (this would be 2, if it checks out), that would be just grand.

We might have to add a new meaning to "disbarred."

these jokers are currently represented by John Dowd, Trump's former attorney for the Mueller probe.

I know that my statewide carpetbagger and Sheldon Adelson backed candidate, who tried to use his public office as attorney General to aid in Adelson's private legal matters, and his lapdog crony are both accused of accepting illegal foreign donations from this pair in their failed campaigns for governor and attorney General. One of the charges or allegations is that the illegal donations were made in an attempt to help them gain office so they could then turn around and help them bribe people for lucrative pot licenses.

Lots of fun stories coming out linking these two to Trump and Trump Jr and maybe even Pence.

Apologies if this has been covered
Just heard the end of a story regarding these guys.
“Arrested in the airport as they were trying to flee”

This isn’t going to end well.

Edit: I guess it depends upon how you define well.
