Big Nay!

I don't know how Sheen gets rewarded for acting only outdone by the likes of Keanu Reeves and Nicholas Cage. It truly is sad that the show has such a following.

I might have liked it a bit more in my early 20's but definitely not worth watching now. Just pathetic, really.

And like others have said.......cliche, bad acting, gets old quick, etc. etc.

I didn't know it got past the first show...

Alan is the funniest one and makes that show.

Sheen gets 850,000 per episode making him the highest paid actor on TV. I dont see it.

Tame? I actually think that it's pretty risque for prime time TV, let alone syndicated stuff at the 6:30 time slot. I do enjoy it though. I think the cast plays well off of each other.

Agreed...maybe I'm just getting old being 31. I thought I'd hate the show...but when I've watched it...I have to admit I've found it funny.

Funny at times but I only watch it once in a great while and for me the show does not get any better with repeat watching.

Oddly enough I used to completely hate the show but it grew on me a bit when there was nothing else on.

Yea I do think it's tame because- it's risque if you don't think it is, but if you think it is, the show's rather tame.

I don't know. Compare it to something like Family Guy. I know it's animated but the real topic it deals with are outright in-your-face like ridiculing homosexuality, racism, mentally/physically handicapped, etc.

A show like Seinfeld is funny because it deals with tame humor and does it well
A show like Family Guy/South Park/etc is funny because it's prime drive is pushing the envelope.

2.5 Men is at an awkward middle where its main humor is based on sex/modern lifestyle, but it's not quite that shocking therefore ends up being lukewarm amusing (at least for me or my age group)

It's still near the edge of what you can get away with on primetime, non-cable television. South Park doesn't count as it's on a cable network. A show doesn't have to deal with "sensitive" topics to be not tame. You could have two women sitting topless at a parkbench discussing the weather and it wouldn't be suitable for prime time television. The topic of weather is tame, right?

All I'm saying is that the innuendos and blatent sexual references that they use in the show would be pushing the envelope of what most shows can get away with on an NBC/CBS/ABC station.

this show is beaten in unfunniness only by shows like 'according to jim.' which has, like, negative funniness. the 'jokes' just make you want to punch babies.

The show sucks. I am biased though, I can't stand Sheen. He's just a step above Christian Slater to me.

Really, I think its the fact that this show seems like they took several things that they felt were guaranteed for success, combined them all together, and then forgot to actually spend the time to make any of them good. Hot chicks? Check. Well known actor? Check. Nerdy brother? Check. Overweight snarky housekeeper? Check. Smartass fat kid? Check. Jokes with pervasive sexual innuendo? Check. They somehow still fuck it up horribly.

Those sound like all the ingredients to a completely mediocre show that is guaranteed to draw fairly large audiences.

boring and repeditive. you can see the jokes coming from about 3 miles down the road. Oh a tit joke, oh a dick joke, oh a joke about putting some tits around a dick.. lather, rinse, repeat.

It makes me laugh, but for some reason I never go out of my way to watch it...

...from the makers of "The Big Bang Theory"...which I do go out of my way to watch and laugh at hysterically.

I sometimes watch it late at night when there's nothing else on. It's entertaining enough. It's kind of surprising how long the show has been on too...the son was just a little kid when it first started airing and now I think he's a teenager.
