Two 6600 GTs in SLI configuration

Just curious how good two 6600 GTs are in an SLI configuration?

The 6800's are too expensive for two of em... so i don't care about that.

Just wondering how much better two 6600 GTs would be compared to say one 6800 GT.

Any opinions/results/ideas to share?

Well, to tell you the truth, they are about the same. But IMO, I would get one 6800GT for the following reasons -
-Less Power Consumption
-Less Heat
-Less Noise
-Ability to add another 6800GT in future.

Yeah, what they said...

Plus if you get a non-SLI motherboard and a single 6800GT, you can save money.

Advanced Search, "SLI 6600", here & Video. There have already been a lot of SLI threads. You can also find out about power supplies this way too.

Video tab at the top of the page for AnandTech SLI articles.
