Twizzlers Vs. Red Vines

I had never seen Red Vines before moving to the west coast. It seems like nobody here likes Twizzlers. What do you think? Is licorice preference a function of geography?

I go out of my way to get Red Vines. They are so much better than Twizzlers that it's not even funny. Red Vines aren't just a cherry-flavored waxy strip. I'm from Ohio, so Red Vines aren't strictly west coast, though they are harder to find here.

red vines are far superior to twizzlers, to me they are completely different, not just two different types of red licorice. Twizzlers are waxy and harder, I don't like the flavor as much either. I'm on the west coast, btw.

If you want a place where you can buy Red Vines, here you go. 🙂 (Given my sweet tooth, it's probably not a good thing that I found that site.)

If you mean those "Super Ropes" licorice whips, those are made by Red Vines' parent company. 🙂

err... no.... the other licorice ropes.... 😉 🙂 😀

I like both, but Twizzlers taste better.

However, neither are licorice -- don't make the mistake or the licorice nazis will getcha.

Red Vines and Twizzlers aren't even alike accept in appearance. Red Vines are far superior. That said, Twizzlers definitely have their place.
