candy bars these days taste like ass compared to 20 years ago
Yup they shure do!!!!!

Recipes have been changed,etc...... I used to love MARS candy (M&MS,Milky Ways) but in the year 2000 they changed to using SKIM MILK and the candy tastes like crap!!

im sitting here with oreos, a snickers, and a butterfinger. I have already eaten twix and kitkats, my question is what do i eat next?

Am I blind or did they not include Butterfinger in that graph?

for me, its all about the peanut butter and Caramel. Twix is solid, but I love:

Butterfinger, Reese Fast Break, Nutrageous, Whatchamacallit. I also have a strange fascination with Rolo....I could sit there and down Rolos all day.

They fucked it up anyways.
Since take 5 is the only thing they have with pretzel they coulda just shove it in the middle of the PB blob, they didnt need to stretch it up there.

Oh wait its got carmel, nuts, and chocolate too?

WTF kind of mad sorcery is this?

I'm going to have to go with the classic Cadbury Dairy Milk. Especially the ones from England that have the little bits of sponge toffee I side them. Reese's Peanut Butter Cups are up there too.

For hard candy, cinnamon hearts. Cheap, sweet, spicy, just all around wonderfull. What else that good can you buy for $1/lb these days.

Snickers PB! Even though I hate how they divided it in two. Basically replacing some of the candy bar with air. 🙁

It's just perfect. I'm more of a salty snack guy, but Twix is just perfect- chocolate covered, satisfyingly chewy caramel, and the awesome crunchy cookie.

It's so much more distinctive than say Snickers. M&Ms are okay. Almond Joy isn't bad either because I like both coconut and almond.

Musketeers & Milky Way are boring. And other peanut based ones are shadowed by Snickers (Babe Ruth, Pay Day, etc).

As for Asian snacks, Pocky/Pepero rocks.

My son loves Pocky. He even made his own Pocky song from that "Let it Rock" song by Kevin Rudolf.

"When I arrive.. I I get the pocky".. haha. He was 4, that song was always on the radio, and he loves Pocky.

Based upon the snack box at work, Twix is the worst candy bar. When all else is gone, there is still a row of Twix bars sitting there waiting for some poor shmuck to decide that even a shitty candy bar is better than no candy bar. Twix has terrible waxy chocolate and a nasty burn.

kit-kat is currently the best mainstream US candy imo, followed very closely by twix. 🙂

Snickers and Almond Joy would be next. Three Musketeers and Butterfingers are terrible, Milky Way not so good either.

Snack box = vending machine? How... Kindergarten-esque

No, snack box = a collection of snacks resting on the counter from which employees can select from and exchange money for; the snacks being contained in, wait for it... a box!

Anyway, even the god awful Baby Ruth bars go faster than Twix.
