So magically, the Anandtech Off Topic forum will cure what Twitter's technical support can't... :hmm:

I'm curious how one makes that cognitive leap. It's sort of like going "If A then the square root of i times Marilyn Monroe divided by space-time fluffy dog alpha pie rubies."

I think Marilyn was even more overrated than JFK, which is saying a lot.

first try clearing cache and cookies, close browser and try again.
If still happening, try this:

1. In the address bar, type or copy and paste about:config and enter.
2. When the page opens, enter network.http.accept.default in the search/filter area.
3. In the result, right click on it and choose Reset
4. Close about config tab/browser and then try the site again.

If it's still happening, go here -- http://whatsmyuseragent.com/ and report back what your useragent is

Oh darn, no twitter...is that really a problem?

That being said, I too have noticed several sites that haven't worked properly since upgrading to FF 25.01, I just attributed it to either NoScript, or Adblock, and used a different browser. It is possible that the latest FF is just not compatible with certain websites.

no go on the options you suggested and here's my agent

Your User Agent String is:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:25.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/25.0
Your IP Address: 101.98.153.204

Does the problem happen on IE or chrome (if installed) on that same machine?

You're connected to a router? I'd look for settings in there. I'm not really well versed in home networking so i'm afraid i can't really do much more.
