Garrett Anderson 0-4. Mays owned him along with the rest of the lineup tonight. In the 8th inning Mays was still throwing in the 90s.

The fan getting beat on the field in the eighth was the only major beating anyone took tonight.

But in the end, the Twins win even though they still aren't making an offensive explosion with men on base.

Hey Mark, tell us more about the fan on the field...they didn't show it on TV so I don't know what was happening.

Some fat guy in his 40s ran out on the field while the Angels were batting They chased all around the the left field. The old fart avoid 2-3 security gaurds and then took off towards the Twins bullpen He was restrained by two security guards escaped and then was tackled and a few punches were thrown by the security guards. He was then escorted off the field into the Twins lockerroom. He got about 5 minutes of fame and brought more excitement into the game than the Angels batting!

Looks like the Twins studied the ALDS video tapes and figured out how the Angels hit the Yankee pitchers so well and adjusted accordingly. Hope the Angels offense recovers tonight. Go Angels! :)

Hope the Angels take it so the WS will be played in real stadiums, not that garbage bag of a stadium in MN .

Haha. Edison is a pretty nice looking field, one of the best in my opinion. If they play the Giants in the World Series, fans will get to see games played at some real nice ballparks.

Really??!! i think that mountain like structure in left center is the ugliest thing ive ever seen

Ever been there? Maybe that A in the waterfall is a bit much, but they did a beautiful job remodeling that stadium. Its awesome. Before the game, its as clean as Disneyland.

At least 4 anandtech members were at the game. Angels did a great job of turning the double plays and shut us down.

Tony

This would be the perfect AT meet.

The game last night was awesome. Even though they lost I thought it was a great game. Just so much different being at the game then seeing it on TV.

Lets hope the Twins can win it in 6! :D:D

That was a great last out by Anderson. Especially since he had a few nice place done on himself.

Y'all have a long series to go before you can start up with the "California WS" crap.

It was a great game. The Angels had to work for that win.

You Angels fan ready for Radke???????????? Are you ready for another homerun or two STOLEN from you be Hunter? (Go to the left and Jones will show you a few defensive plays of his own.)

Very good game by both teams. The Twins definitely need to start hitting the ball better and cannot keep leaving guys on base. Course, the Halos could say the same. You can't leave the bases loaded in a tie game and come up empty.

Hey Mike, did you see Jacque Jones get a hit? Not only a hit, but an RBI at that! :Q:Q:Q:Q:Q:Q I just about pissed my pants when that thing kept sailing.
2 feet higher and we'd still be watching the game.

first of all there werent any homeruns stolen. salmons ball was ~1 1/2 ft short (the side view showed this clearly) and andersons ball to left clearly was short. they were both great plays though. equally great were the plays by the angels in the bottom of the ninth though.

the biggest play of the game imo was chone figgins not breaking for the plate on eksteins single and also on the wild pitch. common figgins thats why your in the game!!

the angels bullpin is just unstoppable. the best relievers (aside from percival) all year for the angels were donnely, shoenweis, and weber. heck, fransico rodriquez only had 5 2/3 inn in the entire season! and now? he is like the #1 guy in the bullpin. if the twins dont have the lead by the 5th, they basically dont have a chance.
