When do the fainting goats start fainting? Do they do it from birth or after a certain age? I smile every time I think about them. I can't imagine the fainting ever getting old. 😀

It's weird - humans have the problem of "red eye" when using flash photography. And, photo software allows for an easy fix. There's just no simple fix for green-eye or blue-eye.

No, but you can photoshop the pictures to make it look like lasers are coming out of the eyes- and that's much more entertaining.

They usually start "fainting" when they're pretty young... a day or so old. There are different degrees of myotonia (the condition that makes them "faint.") Some just hobble when they're walking because their legs stiffen up so readily. Others rarely faint. We've seen all of ours faint, of course. It's often pretty funny. But we never scare them on purpose to make them faint.

We had a goats growing up. (i don't know why except to keep the grass down) Man those pics bring back memories. I could sit there all day and watch the kids play.
