hey guys i just came across this a deal on some 256mb twinmos pc3200 for $63 shipped... and 512mb sticks for $110

http://www.amdforums.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=206235 - go to last few pages to see those who have received their memory did indeed get the twinmos/winbond and are running stable them stable at 200+ FSB w/ 2-2-2-5-1 memory timings.

...this guy isn't a dealer and a few of the more established members on amdmb have already ordered and recieved their memory so i thought it was worth a try. if you do deal with mr. Cross on this deal please post back as to your experience.

*edit*

i just checked newegg and the Corsair 256mb pc3200 XMS (2-3-3-6-1) is going for $81.

The guy that THE CREATOR of this thread is talking about is a genuinely nice guy. I ordered some Twinmos from him today. He says it'll ship tomorrow. I believe him. The title has the price I paid for it.

I don't have a processor or mobe to test it to the max yet, but perhaps soon.

ps: I'll unlock my Tbird and see how high it'll go on a nForce1 board! That'll be cool.

Indeed it has the bh-5 chips. I haven't been able to test it cause my board only goes to 181fsb. Gotta wait till my order comes in Monday or Tuesday. But if someone wants Warren's email, feel free to PM.:)

Well, from the name, I'd say about 500! :D But seriously, 3200 = 400Mhz, 3700 = 433Mhz

I bought 2 sticks of 512. So far the first stick is running at 2-3-3-6 @DDR440 at 2.7v. It's currently in its 2nd hour of running Memtest 86 with zero errors. Also this guys ships fast and uses USPS priority, so it gets pretty much anywhere in 2 days. I will update once this stick is done testing. A very hot deal IMHO...

First stick passed 8 hours of Memtest86 with no errors at 2-3-3-6, DDR 453 using 2.8v in an Epox PEAE mobo. :D
