I don't think its popular. I like rap but hate the lyrics I mean who cares about shoes and jewellery. His hooks in some of his other songs are definitely cringe worthy. Dudes real though so he gets my vote. Other rappers just talk about being real while worrying about how they look with expensive clothes and cars nothing but posers.

With advertising, on the low end, you get about $2,500 per million views on Youtube. So that video alone should have raked in at least $1.5 million from Google AdSense. So yes, it's a great way to make money these days.
