Having a kid doesn't mean you want to militarize the school. Many of us are more intelligent and see a serious problem with letting white supremacist teens legally own semi-automatic rifles.

Oh, and if you hadn't noticed, the student survivors of the shooting are telling cowards like you to go to hell.
The whole bullshit that he was a white supremacist was debunked, it was a lie, told by a white supremacist of all things that for some reason you still believe.

The horrors of getting volunteers to help support safety at schools.
Maybe for one school ok.

Where are you going to get the volunteers for all the high schools across the country?
Where are you going to get the volunteers for all the elementary schools across the country?
Where are you going to get the volunteers for all the daycare centers across the country?
Where are you going to get the volunteers for all the movie theaters across the country?
Where are you going to get the volunteers for all the churches across the country?
Where are you going to get the volunteers for all the fill in the blank soft targets across the country?

Is that how we want to live?

I think anytime you have fairly young folks used as pawns in political battles it's pretty sad. I know some are very involved and are pushing for change, but others just want the crap to be over and to get on with their lives and friends. How many times have we seen political protests that feature kids carrying protest signs about one issue or another that they really don't comprehend or care about? I may be cynical, but not cynical enough to use kids as my proxies on a political issue.

Pawns? These kids are scared and tired of living in this hell. Each year there's 4 million more voters coming to age to pull a ballot lever. If they start voting for politicians that will actually do something instead of sending thoughts and prayers and hiding behind the 2nd amendment and the money of the NRA maybe we'll actually get somewhere.

Let's not enforce the laws we already have, rather make more useless ones that won't be enforced. What a bunch of fucking idiots.

FL has some of the most lenient gun laws in the country, which laws are you referring to, be specific.

It's impossible, literally can never be done so it's dumb it even think of that as a solution.

This is the biggest winning issue for Republicans and the right in the last 25 years............. but maybe you're right.

He's a big enough jerk and a big enough narcissist that I would not put it above him to tweet out an insult to the kids most traumatized by the shooting.

I don't think he'll attack the kids, just more deflection to failing FBI and officials that missed things. NO COLLUSION!

Millennial voters are replacing boomers each year. For every 1.25 boomers that die, 1 millennial voter comes to voting age. Or roughly around that. The scales will tilt.

Who are WatchDOGS? Fathers, grandfathers, step-fathers, uncles, and other father figures who volunteer to serve at least one day a year in a variety of school activities as assigned by the school principal or other administrator.

Thanks for providing your experience as you're still in high school. Volunteer one day a year? Yeah, those schools will be secure and good luck with trying to get these volunteers with guns trained to actually handle a mass shooting attack.

And you do know that this organization has nothing to do with providing armed safety, right?

You may think he was, but I think he should be convicted of murder and put to death and that it should be done in less than a year.
You damn well know Trump thinks that. He said it. You know the guy you worship and make excuses for almost daily.

Yes, I know. Most schools are gun free zones one of the reasons that a Raymond Feis was not permitted to carry his firearm as an unarmed security guard at the school. BTW my son usually serves multiple times per year as a watchdog and takes it seriously.

It doesn't matter. I will be happy to take care of that generation through increased taxes. I'm a gen'xer and I hope you will be willing to support my age group as we near our dying off phase.
*edit * Sorry Taj, I added "through increased taxes" after your like.

Knowing what I know now. I think Trump deep down knows we need more regulations on guns. I am a registered as an independent in Cali.

Yeah, I'd hope that Republican leaders are taking notice. They have a demographics problem on their hands, and it has nothing to do with minorities or identity politics or "illegal voters". Their baby boomer donors will be getting out of the game soon, and they no longer appeal to anyone under the age of 30.

No problem, in some cases I support raising taxes myself. I've even voted for more spending on education, gas taxes and infrastructure.
