Sarah Huckabee literally said “The President fights fire with fire and the people knew that when they overwhelmingly elected him”

News flash Sarah, Trump lost the popular vote unless you are talking about the electoral college knew this about him and overwhelmingly voted for him.

It is already published fact that those were fake votes in the popular vote, though.

...in Trumptardia.

LOL no I didn't. I'm a libertarian who voted Gary Johnson and have posts here from before the election saying I preferred Jill Stein and Clinton over Trump (I had the candidates ranked Johnson >>> Stein > Clinton >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Trump). If Clinton had been better on civil liberties such as privacy concerns she would have been #2 and hopefully the next Democratic candidate does rediscover their spine and rein in the NSA surveillance state.

I hope you realize that a vote for anybody not Hillary was a vote for Trump. If you were half as rational as you claim you'd man up to that.

In fairness, that kind of depends on whether or not he lived in a battleground state. A vote for Johnson was a perfectly cromulent option for someone living in someplace like Wyoming or DC.

Which sounds peachy until we acknowledge that third party voting swung WI, MI & PA to Trump. They probably thought their votes wouldn't matter, either.

Which is why I said that it matters if one lives in a battleground state. I am all for taking a very broad definition of "battleground" when I say that. Seriously, I'm not saying it's sensible in all situations. My sister voted for Browne in 2000 while living in Florida. I'd still give her grief about it if it weren't for the fact that she still feels terrible about it nearly 20 years later.

But it's a simple statement of fact that if every single third party voter in Wyoming changed their vote to Clinton, she would have still very easily lost the state. So if someone in that vote wanted to give their protest vote to Johnson rather than Clinton, it gets a solid "meh, whatever" from me.

And I have no idea where glenn lives. If it's Ohio - I hoped he learned the same lesson my sister did.

Nah, he got a tax cut so it's all good. Plus all the free heat from Democracy burning down and winter is coming.

The President is on yet another tweet storm. Let’s put whether he spouting facts or acting like a spoiled child aside.
Doesn’t the President have more important stuff to do than tweet negative crap about a former staffer and a guy who was fired from the FBI?
Someone please embed some of his tweets, I have no idea how to do that with AT

I’d like to know what these guys think.
@boomerang
@werepossum
@glenn1
@brandonbull
@imported_tajmahal
@pcgeek11

If we could have @KanyeWest dial in with a piece too, that would be awesome!

He should make it permanent. Go play golf with his ultra rich right wing pals & tweet gibberish from his fortress of solitude high above Trump Tower.
Pretty much what he does anyway. It’s interesting that almost everything Trump does as president he could just as easily do as a private citizen.

Tweet crazy shit.
Play golf.
Trump rallies.
Do shady international deals.

The trade war and pardons are just a few places he exercises real executive authority.

I’ve made that mistake before I apologize. Some reason I keep thinking you are a Trumper.
List was more about how our conservative members feel about the Presidents twitter habit.

**Your Hillary revelation is surprising to me**

I’ll post this before someone else does:

No need to apologize. Might be a bit more useful if you didn't seek feedback based upon what you thought someone's political alignment was (e.g. "from a Trump supporter") but it's a good thing you're looking to avoid confirmation bias. Hopefully getting opinions from a libertarian guy was useful although I don't know how much it added to your understanding other than to know that not just Democrats think Trump is an idiot.

I’ll say libertarians have many good ideas, just the candidates that come up for election are idiots (in my opinion)

Well he didn't discover doing rallies to promote himself until he was on the campaign trail.

I'm not sure he'd get the same turnout if he was no longer the cultists leader.

He will always be a cult leader. His rallies aren’t exercises in advancing political thought. They’re rock concerts of white grievances. That will be attractive long after he’s out of power.

People will come to see the hits. They will get the hits.

Freebird!

Alright, I'll give you that but without the campaign and this piece of shit presidency he didn't have the audience he has now.
