The first thing to do is get a copy of X-Setup...current version6.1. This program already supports XP with hundreds of registry tweaks....I've tried quite a few, no problems. It's free.

Next get Windows Power Toys for XP....this includes TweakUI .....another must to have. This new version does tweaking you won't get from any other program. It's also free.

If you are comfortable hacking around in the Registry, you could probably do these tweaks manually....Using these programs is the safer route.

dunno about everyone else but i hate installing another program just to tweak a different one. All that stuff can be done manually.

TweakXP
