I just built my computer a few weeks ago, here's some of the components I used that might be related to my question:
MSI KT7 Pro2-A Motherboard
AMD Thunderbird 1 GHz
Micron 128 SDRAM PC133 16x64
Daytona Geforce 2 MX
IBM Deskstar 75 GXP 30GB ATA 100
Windows 98 OS
I love my new system, the only time it has ever crashed on me was when I was overclocking my video card
. Very stable and fast. My question, is there anything in the BIOS that I can tweak that will make my system a bit more efficient or boost performance a little. Should I do the smart thing and just leave it alone? One more question, the version of my BIOS is 1.9, I think the current version is 2.1? Should I bother with updating, if everyhing is working fine now?
