I am building a PC for a customer who is a Seti nut. 6,000+WU's. While I'm sure in this audience it may not seem like that far of milestone, he takes it seriously. He is also a games and has purchased the following configuration:
Intel 3.4 Extreme Ed.
4 gig of Crosair DDR400
Dual Raptor RAID 0 array.
He uses the Seti CLI and averages packet return around 2.5hrs. Is there any other interface he should be using for faster returns, or is this where it should be? I would like to make his computer do what he purchased it to do faster, is there any tweaks or software that he is missing? Thanks for helping a noob, I did a quick search but was confused by most of the lingo.
