tweakin out my new pc

I am new to this forum and pc's for that matter and am looking for some kind advice on what I can do to maximize the gaming performance of my home built pc. I have overclocked my processor and my GFX card and my system is very stable, but I feel like one of you could advise me on how to get more out of my system. My specs are as follows: Windows XP Home - AMD 64 (Winchester) 3500+ @ 2420.0 MHz (220 HT x 11 mult.) - 1 Gig CorsairXL pc3200 2-2-2-5 now running @ 2-3-3-6 DDR440 2.8 volts (voltage is as high as it can go w/ Asus A8V Deluxe) - I have a Swiftech 6400 HSF w/ a Silenx 80mm fan on it running @ 2500 rpm (very quiet and keeps cool) - my GFX card is a EVGA 6800 GT 256 MB @ 420/1120 (stock is 350/1000) and has an NV5 Silencer from Arctic Cooling on it - AGP aperture size is at 256. My HD is a Raptor 74 Gig and is at the front bottem of my case just behind a 120mm Silenx intake fan - My exhaust fan is also a 120mm Silenx - PSU is a PCPower & Cooling 425 Deluxe with a Silenx 80mm fan - this system is almost inaudible and thats what I wanted when I built it. Case is a Thermaltake Tsunami. My voltage on the processor is @ stock. My temperatures are good in my opinion 32-34C @ idle and 44-47C under load. These temperatures are in a room with an ambient temp of 70-72 farenheit. I have put the lock on the AGP and PCI 66/33 and have raised my agp voltage to 1.6 instead of 1.5. Heres the BIG questions!! 1] Is there a different multiplier I should be using? 2] Can I run this memory any faster? 3] Will raising V-Link voltage make any difference? (it is at default) 4] Do I need to up the processor voltage if I OC it more? 5] Does AGP aperture size really matter? I just feel like I can get more out of this system, but maybe not. 3dMark03- 13095 & 3dMark05- 5471. Can I get more out of this system? Thanks in advance 🙂

I'm sure you could probably squeeze a little more juice out, but do you really need to? In order to get even better performance, you will probably need alot of cooling and trial and error. I can't imagine any reason to need more performance for gaming or otherwise, so it seems like a big risk with little reward. If you are really desperate for more power, You may be able to squeeze some more out of the processor (Many people can get it over 2.6 GHz). Anyway, nice system and its very similar to what I am planning on building...

No I really dont need to lol, but as you probably are well aware of, the overclocking/benchmarking addiction is tough to break lol. Actually I love it, but my knowledge is not that of some of you pc "gurus" so I was just curious. Thanks for the reply and if you do build a system like this, you will absolutely love it! It's fast.

Personally, I really haven't done much OCing. There is no point on my hand-me-down Dell P3 500. I understand the fun of OCing, though. Sorry if I sounded kind of prohibitive (is that a word?)... If you know what you are doing, I'm sure there is alot you can still do... Good luck with the system!

Ty wOOt but I dont want to buy another mobo seeing how this build broke me and Guapo you didnt sound prohibitive at all 🙂 I just appreciate the replies. 🙂
