The retention rep offers a 1-year $24.99+tax deal (4Mbps) for existing customers (no cable). There's also a promo for $19.99 for all new users switching from Yahoo DSL.

how do I get the 24.99$ + tax I had RR for like 6 years when it was 34.99 and now I am paying 44.99$ a month....How do i get this 24.99$ ? how do i get ahold of that rep ?

I would love to get a hold of this rep also. Been with earthlink for quite a few years and would love a year of lower payment.

I used to call in twice a year to get a 6-month deal for $29.99/mo. Now it's even lower for the 1-year deal. Persuade the rep about the existing Yahoo DSL deal. If you get a naye, ask for cancellation and hopefully you get transfer to the retention center. Perhaps, it's limited to certain regions.

I wish vegas had competing vendors. Cox cable has the whole town. Those @ssholes charge $40 for 1.5 down and $52 for 6 down. I guess I will have to go to DSL.

They told me that if I drop the cable service (which is worse than using an indoor antenna) I would be charged nearly $70 a month just for Road Runner.
