hi just recieaved a sti tv wonder ve for x-mas. I installed it and the video works fine but no matter what I do the sound refuses to work at all. I have a turtle santa cruz with the latest drivers running under XP. My speakers are Boston digitals (sweat speakers that came with my dads comp he didn't want them because of TO MUCH base. plus for me :) )pluged into the versa jack. I know the card is ouputing sound because when i plug my headphones in to the jack I hear the audio. also I know the sound card input works because when I go thru the audio set up for voice I can get it to play the audio thats being input by the card. I've tried everything, reinstalled both sound card and vid card. tried it once before I upgraded from win2k and i did the same thing in win2k. don't know about win98 but as far as I'm conserned I'll never touch that operation system again. if you guys have any ideas please tell me thanks. Also my complete system specs are below

CPU: Duron 850@1050
Ram 512mb
MB gigabyte KT133a (forget model)
Sound Turtle Beach Santa Cruz
Video Geforce 256 DDR
network :linksys HPNA
modem: sh*tty winmodem

everything running latest drivers.

thanks in adavce

Did you try going back into the "Initialization Wizard" in Setup, on the "Display" tab and go to the Sound Iniatialization Wizard and try the different Audio inputs...

Why do you have the VE hooked into the versa jack, run it through the inline on the TB and make sure that line-in isn't muted in the audio properties

no my speakers are plugged into the versa jack, which is in digital out mode. I got the VE plugged into the line in. I have checked to make sure its not muted its not. its really quite wierd when you go into windows sound setup in xp and go to voice and do test hardware when its setting the levels for the voice you can here what the tv card is outputing. this leads me to think its something with my soundcard anyone else out thier using a santa cruz with this card? I tried a few different tv tuner apps and all of them display video fine but no audio. is it my sound card thats causing this I would try my built in one to my MB but it doesn't have digital output and I don't have any analog speakers. any ideas would be helpful thanks
