Hello All,

I don't know anything about TV tuners, so can you recommened me any that won't be very expensive , but good ...

Thank you,
bye.

Hi Dark4ng3l, why does everyone say that is the best TV card to get? It's not out yet (or just came out a few days ago?) and no one really knows how well it performs, just the specs are pretty good? I remember the STB TV/FM card, and that sucked...

I dont think you can realy measure performance with a tv tuner card just think about it. It has alot of features and it's quite cheap. if everyone says it's the best than I guess it must be dont you think?

One suggestion is that if you are looking for immediate Win2k support then DON'T get the ATI TV-Wonder or VE. ATI said they'd come out with Win2k drivers for soo long, and still no news.

Don't buy the ATI TV-Wonder card. The drivers for it suck. Get a Hauppauge WinTV card. They run anywhere from $50 to $200 -- depending on what model you get. This TV tuner card is Windows 2000 compatible, and the quality is excellent:

Yeah I know you can't measure how fast it is or something, so why do people say it's good? Especially when it wasn't even out yet people were saying that, and how much does it cost? Any good drivers under win2k?

Though not out yet, the features of the new voodoo tuner will put the beat down on any tv tuner currently out. And it's completely irrelevant of stb, since MicroTune? makes the tv card. 3DFX just sells it.

and what do you all think about WinTV ... maybe voodootv is good , but I have a little problem with it, so I can't buy it ;(

Thank you,
bye.

Dudes,

Nothing compares to that new Radeon ATI TV Tuner card out there.. Forgot the name, but definately check it out. I just saw it in action - it blows away my G400 Max in picture qualilty, quake3 frames, and it's got a full suite of TV, video capture, DVD, etc....
